99 Accord Brake Fluid Leak
I have a 99 Accord with 148,000 miles of Illinois driving. My brake light went on and I noticed that the brake fluid was low. After topping it off, I noticed a wet spot under the vehicle and saw the brake fluid level was dropping very slowly, but the car still drives fine.
Brought it to a Honda dealer and their report was, 'replace rusted fuel and brake lines (fuel line ruptured under center of car) $1,845.89'
How realistic is this quote? I don't know if it is worth the money to replace since I could get another vehicle for around that price. I spent $1,300 last month on new brakes and suspension repairs and now this. Please help.

Update:
I went to dealer to pick up the car and they said they could do it 'a different way' for around $800-$1000.
I brought it to CarX and they are working on it for $400-$500.
Parts for this repair are less then $100. Labor is the big factor here. A certified Honda technician is expensive if you want them to work on an old car.
This old car was great and cheap for a long time, but now it has cost me about $1700 in the span of six weeks. I am going to start looking for something new.

They said that once the plastic casing for the brake lines was removed the fuel lines would break too. It wasn't leaking fuel, but fixing the brake lines would cause a fuel leak. They wanted to replace all fuel and brake lines.
