Hey guys, I was seeing if someone could help me out by telling me what the difference is between a sedan speedo and a coupe speedo.
I have a 2002 ex 5 speed 4 door. Canadian built. I need a replacement speedo and while searching, sellers are telling me that there is a difference. can some one please clear this up for me? if there is a difference, can i swap things over to make it work right? thanks for any help!


one other thing, i see there is write up to switch to the 03-05 speedo and those seem to be cheaper and easier to come by in my area, i can repin, no problem, i guess the same question as above, can i swap to an 05 coupe cluster with out a problem, if all other things remain the same?

 

Yes, you can run an 03-05 Cluster as long as you re-pin it properly. However, if you want your mileage to post accurately, you'll need to take it to a Honda dealership and have it re-programmed.

 

thank you for your help, got the 05 cluster in today and it works great, now on to the next problem lol
