So I'm buying a b16 tranny from this guy he claims its from a civic type r , he's selling it for 400$ , I want to know a couple things , one does it come LSD , 2 is a that a good price & 3 will it bolt on to a b18b1 motor ? Lmk guys I don't wanna do a dumb buy on this

 

Yes it would have an lsd, you can see if that's true buy looking through the diff. If there's a bar through it then it's NOT an lsd, 400 seems way too cheap doesn't sound like he is a buddy either. I sold my ITR trans with all the sensors and painted to my best friend for 650, I'd would avoid it it's probably isn't a ctr let alone in good shape.

 

He lives next door so if he's flaking me then I'll tell him

 

I sold my real CTR LSD stamped trans for $1100 bucks. $400 would be a smoking deal. I would assume it is probably not a real CTR trans.

 

any markings on? it for that price sounds more like a b16a trans
