Recently bought a 1.4 civic project car, basically just curious to see if i can find out which of the problems it could be , when the car heats up the revs dip , ive been told and know it could be idle control valve , BUT , theres an aftermarket air induction fitted which hasnt got the proper place for the air flow sensor to connect into .. So whoever fitted it simply cut a whole out of the silicone elbow bend and pushed the sensor into the pipe .. Leaving small gaps so air can escape .. Just want some help im thinking of trying to get a second hand air induction kit to see if the idle problem fixs without going near the IAC valve .. Anyone please help me ?

1.4 apparently the car is jap import its in ireland

 

Wikipedia shows 1.4L as Europe and UK only. No 1.4 liters in JDM by the looks.

Please identify which 1.4L motor you have at the bare minimum.
