So I bought this ITR tranny off a kid from this forum (if you read this f*** you), and I didn't notice this until now, but the end of my diff looks to be broken. I wanna know if this will cause problems, it's on the half shaft side

 

It's not ideal, but shouldn't cause any problems that I can think of.

Looks like they have may have taken the diff out to service it and dropped it or something. (?)
I don't know how you could chip that diff casing if it was still in the transmission without destroying the much softer aluminum that surrounds it.
