This is how my car looks after last night accident.
The Airbags came out, and well, i don't have insurance, so everything will be coming out of my pocket ......... whish is EMPTY.......
I'm going to start taking it apart and doing a list of things needed,
The battery blew up and i couldn't think last night, so when i woke up realized that the battery acid was eating the whole bay, so i washed with baking soda and lots of water.
Right now i'm considering doing aftermarket stuff if they are cheaper than stock, example: i'll build my CAI and move the battery out of there (maybe getting an optima cuz i don't want anymore acid around)
As for the airbags, i don't have the money to replace them, but i'll try my best to do it.
I feel like crap, it was the only thing that i really liked and i'm having lots of problems right now with my life, just came out of a 2 years and a half relationship in whish i'm still in love and don't know what to do, and i have to study harder, i guess troubles like to come together to see how strong you are.
well, thanks for reading all this bull.

well, i hate to say this, but it was all my fault, the other guy was pretty cool with things, i was going too fast and lost control on a slide (didn't do it on purpose) i kinda controlled the slide, but the back end played a trick on me, sort of a oversteer, but with the 4 wheels, so i hit him in the back driver's corner and i hit him with the fron left corner (as you can see), nothing happend to him or me, the only thing is that the airbag kinda burned the hairs in my arm, and it does hurt a lil, but i was soo pissed of at me, is not the first time, and i'm dissapointed in me. thanks for listening, it helps

EDIT: i was too close to flip, i guess in a way i got REALLY lucky.
go to AUTO-x or to a track to run, DON'T DO IT ON THE STREETS

sorry to hear all this man. I'm surprised your windshield didn't shatter from the passenger's airbag. Or did it?

It definately could've been worse.

i am in the same situation now, except i was not at fault, they told a lie and gave me the fault. i was comfortable with my 90 acura integra, and then this lady decided to ****up my life. now my life is upside down, and i don't stop getting hospital bills.

so i was wondering how much should i expect my insurance to increase? i am now paying ~$450/ six months. my insuarance might have to pay ~$6,000. i am 20 yrs old

how much of an increase should i expexct from my insurance?

+15-45% year. Depends on how bad the other person/car got f'ed up and how grossly negligent you were. Could be cut off if its a shitty insurance carrier...

if that's with me, me too, for the speed and how the accident was, nothing happend, the other guy was perfect and so was his car, my car absorbed the whole impact, which i'm glad too.
But i'm being hard with myself and that's the hardest part of this. but o well, i'll sure learn something out of this.

well, i think that the accident made me a worse driver, because now i am over cautious, and i am still a bit jumpy from the accident. i think i am now too hard on myself watching out for other drivers now, and that makes me not have the control that i used to have over the car. i was a cautious driver before, but now i think i am going through a phase. i'll get over it soon though

hey man, sorry to hear about your wreck...i hit a curb about 1 month ago and everything came out of my pocket, so i know the situation....anyways, i have a couple of suggestions for you....first of all...concentrate on first of all, getting the car back to being driveable safely, regardless of looks for now...that can come later....second....let the junkyard be your friend....usually, if you go there and want a large quantity of items, they will hook you up, or if you really want, find an accord at a junkyard that is intact, and offer them $500-$700 for it...as long as it doesn't have a motor in it, they might be willing to do this if the rear end is heavily damaged...this should give you the majority of your parts, and the rest seems to be some damaged engine pieces, which i'm not sure....does the car run or no?...

*edit: nevermind, you said the battery blew up....try getting a batter or something to get power to it, and turn it over...see what happens...

gladly the engine is ok, as i say before, the engine, suspension and trans are perfect, the car does turn on, but i just wanna finish taking it apart to see if any conection would make a short that could blew something up, i already took the bumper and the fender out, it doesn't seem that bad (knock on wood), i took the wheel on the passenger side and the suspension was ok.
I have to go to the junkyard and see if i can get a front clip or any part that might work, i guess i'm on my way to move the batery to the trunk and make my own CAI. I don't know what would be the cheapest as far as the headlight is concerned, i have to check stock prices, as well as junkyard prices and aftermarket ones (or JDM).

O i have a question, both radiators are ok, except for the fact that the lil plastic things that goes into the rubber mounts are broken, so i have too perfect radiators without their current mounts, what can i do with this? take it to somebody that can make some plastics that are kinda like what they where and put them back on or i'm fu...?? the gas from the AC is still there and i took the coolant out, the fans are ok.

This is how it looks, i plan on going shoping to the junkyard, but as for now i don't have a car.
I don't know much about body work and that kinda of stuff, but if you tell me how it looks i can probably start from there? Where does the frame part is? i know is a lot, but i have a hard time figuring out what part is exactly IT. One of the pics is inside the fenderwell on the side of the impact, the suspension is still in place, but as you can see the bodywork is kinda cracked, so how do you fix this? what is the best way to do all this? my guess would be a front clip, but how exactly you do that? soldering the front clip or the part needed and that's it? doing this myself is the best way, cuz i don't have enough money and i want to learn more about bodywork, please help me.
I know most of you guys know a lot about this, anything would be apreciated!
TIA

EDIT: here is my album, you got to be a imagestation member, i think:

Sorry to hear it dude. That's the worst. Looks like you went under the other vehicle? Must've been an SUV or truck?
I hate to say it, but looking at that crack in the unibody but the UCA in the last picture, if you did have comprehensive insurance, they'd probably total the car. Looks to me the structural integrity of that area has been compromised and a chop and weld might be needed. I dunno anything about body damage though. You can probably get it back into good shape just replacing parts.

I just felt in depresion again! i hope you are wrong, not so i can be correct, just because it would be a lot of money. Please someone else, tell us what you think and if you know for sure what's gonna be needed?

EDIT: thanks for your opinion man, that's what i really need right now, being serious

I agree with this post totally (you asked for my opinion in an IM). Unibody cars are a different breed... especially in that region i would be very sensitive as to how I repaired it.

I would start looking for an Accord with a good front clip and with any luck you can have it for pretty cheap. You're going to need an experienced bodyman to chop/weld that section of the car... chances are it will never align quite right again unless extreme care is taken. If you can cut the cost down on parts needed you're doing good.

Depending what your finiancial situation is it might be time to find a new ride
