i have not tried to turn it over because its missing a distributor and a battery.it has a sticker on it that says it was rebuilt so i'm hoping its ok. i was gonna get those and try to connect everything i could before trying to start it. I live in the states and the car was imported back in the 90's.
I would put the distributor on and the battery first.... Make sure everything is hooked up and if you run into problems after that id be glad to help
yea thats the plan but i need a hand finding out what distributor to buy and i was hoping to find some of those plugs homes to connect back to before starting

when i bought it it had a b16 but i never checked or modified it because it ran and drove just fine. this car was all original from japan and i was told it was originally a 92 model.
The distributor should be reltively easy to find ... Even a simple google search for b16a distributor should be what you need ... As far if its obd1 or obd2 distributor would matter on the year...
Also someone correct me if wrong buy you might be able to use a regular civic dizzy because i believe they are interchangable

Sorry about your loss. And glad you gained it back.

There should be a label glued on the ECU. Post a picture. It's likely OBD1, though you need to verify.

The stock OBD1 P06 ECU is designed to run an OBD1 D15B7 engine, not a B16 engine, so the ECU is not stock for your engine or car. However, a chip can be plugged into the P06 to program it to run other engines, like yours. Remove the top from the ECU and post pictures of the inside. Somebody will be able to tell you whether it is chipped and how to figure out whether the chip is specifically programmed to run your JDM B16A engine.
Can I get some assistance here please. I'm ready to order some parts. I'm going to order a p30 computer a obd1 dizzy and a radiator. Does this sound about right?
