Default Civic turbo.

Hey guys. I am getting ready to come into some money and getting ready to buy a 1993 EG Civic b18b1. I am going to turbo the car as soon as I get it.
This will be done by me and my father, but here is the real questions. What is the best turbo kit AND transmission -manual of course- I would like at least 350-400HP Money isn't the issue either. Just need to know the best transmission and turbo kit.
Thanks in advance.

OOOOH by the way, I forgot to mention it will NOT be a daily driver, just mostly go out on weekends and run it.

Welcome, and please check the FAQs as well as similar setups regarding B16s that you like and implement your decisions from there. Unfortunately, Honda-Tech is one of those webforums that's not the most-friendly to newcomers with generic "overall" questions like yours because of the fact that there are literally hundreds of combinations to choose from when it comes to turbocharging that engine, at that power level, in a variety of budgets.

The FAQs show specifics about different exhaust manifolds, and links such as this one
(Click here for lots of B16 turbo setups.)

to show B16 turbocharger setups. Please take the time to look at these first before furthering your inquiries. Make sure that those inquiries have more specified content, as the general overall questions are answered here from the last 15 years.

Welcome, and good luck to you.

I don't think that you can use the word best to describe turbos or transmissions. The same turbo will perform differently with different tunes. There are too many variables to determine what is the "best" set up. Do you want to keep a/c and power steering so you can fit more under the hood? Try to focus and think about what you really want.
