what brand tools?
As a devoted Prelude owner, I've decided that if you want things done right...you GOTTA go it yourself. So with my Helms, and my tools...wait....I have no tools. (Except the VERY basics) Haha...Just wanted to know what brand of tools yall use? And why did you choose that brand? Thanks
mugen tool set

i use craftsman because if it breaks sears replaces it no questions asked, well sometimes they are curious
but snap on are also really good, but i dont know what kind of replacement program they have.. also for my manual i went to honda and ordered the factory manual 10x better then any other one and 100x better the chiltons
chiltons suck ***

I've found that snap-on or matco are the best tools. I know for sure that snap-on have leftime warrantees as well. However, they are really pricey and only available through a snap-on or matco truck. Craftsman tools are not the same in regards quality but they will replace any broken tool which is pretty handy. Just walk in to Sears and they'll give you a newer and better tool to replace the broken old one.

If anyone is interested I am planning on selling a huge set of snap on tools, It was my school set, and I have another for work, so I don't need these anymore. I paid $6800 (at a 10% discount off retail) for these 2 years ago, all are still in great shape and still polish up nicely. and all socket and wrench sets are complete. I will only sell this as a complete set, I'm thinking $5000 is fair for this set, if anyone is really intesested I will get the whole tool list on here. I can also sell a new box with it for about $1200, it's a full size roller ball bearing box...very nice. And it will be new from snap on. Please only serious inquiries, It'll take a couple hours to post everything.

I agree that snap-on and mac are nice tools, but crazy$$$$$$, if you are a mechanic then yeah get the best, but for home shop craftsman cant be beat, plus their higher end sets are pretty damn nice and no hassle replacements.
You really can feel the difference in quality of Snap-On/Matco/Mac compared to craftsman and such. The ratchets, for instance, are much more precise. The screwdrivers are shaped better IMO, and their impact drivers work on the first hit.
MOST if not all Snap-On hand tools have a lifetime warranty, however, the drivers can be very picky about what they warranty because they don't want to risk getting stuff sent back from Snap-On.
Snap-On's ya8895 that you are talking about is made by another company and then branded with Snap-On. The company is something like Schley or something like that. Same tool.

I cant believe it was only 10%. I can get that just by asking the local dealer. I go to school for automotive mechanics myself. And at the beginning of the year all the vendors come to the school to push their tools with HUGE savings of over 50%(Up to 75% by some vendors)when you do your initial tool purchase. Its this way all over the country. Vendors have specials for new students who are getting into the trade. Many vendors have special "combos" too. Im sure you paid alot less than what your asking. If you really want to get something even remotly close to what you asking, then sell them on ebay.
