Default coolant flush issue...!!!

For the life of me i can not get the air out of the coolant system. All was well until i decided to drain the coolant and refill it. I followed the eric the car guy video and still have the air in the system. I used a spill free funnel for the job as well. It doesn't over heat also the heat works great. I just seem to have air within the system. I also tried the coolant fill with the heat on and with the fan on high. Then again with the heater dial turned to hot with no heat on. Also tried raising just the front of the car up also jacked up just the side the radiator cap is on. Still to no avail all the methods i have done i still have air in the system. Ever thing was fine before this. Am i missing something? Should i have the control dial turned to cold with no fan on?? Thanks guys.

do you have a gurgling sound? what makes you believe you still have air in system? Heat out of the vents usually is a good indication that there isn't any air in the heater core. you could try propping up the front end, turn the heat to hot, fan on or off, and try revving it up to 2500-3k rpms and see if any big bubbles come out. I do this on the daily and never have issues.

yeah i have the gurgling sound when i start the car and the idle is fluctuating now. when it never did it before i flushed the coolant out. Also when i start my car if i have the heater dial turned to cold all the way i dont hear the gurgling sound when driving. No white smoke out of exhaust. No sweet burning anti freeze smell. No milky looking oil. I guess ill just let it run longer with the spill free funnel hooked up and see if all the air bubbles come out.

could it be the blend door that closes and opens when you turn the heater dial? or should i start by letting the car run for a longer time with the funnel hooked up and let the air out.
