Default RHD S2000 V8 LS1 SWAP

What's up Honda-Tech?

Let me introduce myself first. My name is Marquiz I go by the name keys. I'm from Rocky Hill, Connecticut. I'm 21 years old and I'm going to show you a pretty unique build that my brother and I are currently doing to show a good amount of people that were coming out hard. If interested in the build and anxious about updates or have any questions about the process, you can follow me on instagram fucking_keys.

First things first, the car came into the family about 2 months ago. My brother flew out to Orlando, Florida to pick it up.

2001 Honda S2000
77000 miles
Megan Racing one piece coilovers
invidia exhaust

Only negative about the pick up was no 6th gear.

Took my brother about 18 hours to get the car back home. Lost the front lip on the way back north once he hit the horrific roads of New York. Once back in Connecticut I let the car rest a bit before driving it even though I was too excited.

This is how she sits now.

So for the people who know who I am they know I have to right hand drive every car I get my hands on. So I was already on the hunt for a right hand drive clip for the s2. I was calling every jdm place I possibly can. I went from jdmorlando to hmotorsonline to jdmenginedepot etc. They all wanted to sell me the clip for 2000-2500. I finally came across a guy who actually followed me on instagram and liked the work Ive done. So he gave me a price that I could not refuse. I ended up paying 1200. Also when we got there he gave us prices on other clips I couldn't refuse either. So we left with 4 clips in a f150. 1 s2000 1 dc5 2 jdm ITR.

After 8 hour drive back home back at my shop

Next morning I went over the clip and I cant lie I got a great *** deal

I decided to start drilling out the firewall and removing the front glass today.

all this extra money and effort so you can drive the car from the other side....and not to mention the thought of a ls1 in a s2k makes me cringe but hey your car.....

I honestly just like to be different. Right hand drive cars are unique and a LS1 are great motors. Why be like everybody else?

It's an open forum on the Internet. There's no restriction to giving ones opinion. It sounds like a waste of time/money. Enjoy your build.

The car was already clean...

OP I know it's your car/time/money but man I truly don't understand cutting into what appeared to be an unmolested S2k just for ***** and giggles. Have fun with the build tho.

Drove her around today for a little bit since the weather was finally 80 degrees in Connecticut.

Getting ready to start take it all apart in the morning.

Is that a J's racing valve cover? Looks like some nice pieces in the bay.

Got it up on the lift today. Haven't had much time to do work on it because I've been taking care of customers work. Which is way more important than my projects.
