Default Multiplexer problem

My 2.3 98 Accord was having the typical ignition switch problems. I replaced the switch and all is well but now the power door locks won't work by any switch or the key in the door. Also the 2 passenger side windows will not work from the driver's side switch but they will work at the local switches. I had disconnected the neg. terminal when I replaced the switch. I tried to reset the multiplexer by disconnecting both battery cables and jumping them together for half an hour but nothing changed. Everything else seems to work correctly so I don't believe anything is disconnected. I had also heard there is a certain way to reset the multiplexer involving the wipers but I'm not sure on this or if that's even the problem but I would think that's the case. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it. Thanks Pdelo

Default Re: Multiplexer problem

I fixed the problem! I sort of remembered the wiper procedure and tried it and it worked. Put the intermitten time dial to the midway point, turned on the ignition, open and close the door and turn the key off. That simple and it worked. Everything should be that easy. Thanks again.
