Default 88 Sedan RestoMod?

So I picked up the 88 sedan shell for $800 probably a little steep but whats done is done. The plan right now is just to fix the tiny bit of body problems which are all pictured below then shave the engine bay. For now I don't know where I'm going with the drivetrain but I have a spare D15 that I might swap into my current daily (88 4dr with OBD1 Z6 Si final drive I did myself) or if my new job I just started is paying as well as its supposed to I might be looking to go a whole lot bigger. This is my first build thread and I'm going to try and keep it updated with pics of the work I do as I go since this is the first time I'm going to be doing any bodywork.

Nice finding the change under the seat!

Looks rough. Not terrible though.
Worst of it, to me, is that rust under the paint. 0_o

Ya like I said I have never done bodywork but this look like a good time to learn. I'm thinking that I might want to shave the fuel door because I not only like the clean look but I like the idea of the refueling thru the trunk

Why bother with tires when you have 2 lugs holding wheels on?

Nice 4 door. Mine is that same color, more faded though. The rear seat is off a 90-91 black interior sedan?

I didn't notice it till you said something but the whole interior is the stock red, I don't really know why the picture is faded to black and white at the bottom

I've got a 91 ex that is the same color. Doing body work to it now. Would love to see that come to its full glory.

Ya I have no worries about being able to complete the bodywork because none of it seems that bad and I'm confident that the Internet will be able to teach me all I need to know. So far I don't really have a style or anything that I'm going to go far so this isn't a slammed or track kind of build, just something that I've had a vision of for a long time and most of the details probably won't even be noticed when I'm done unless I point them out. I'm currently working on my to do list and once I get closer to finishing that I'll post it up and then maybe I'll start searching through which parts I know for sure I'm going to need before I get to the engine and trans part.
