Hey im about to move back to virgina after leaving there some 12 years ago, I was just wondering where people go to race, every time i goto va i get a damn ticket for 5 over, so just wondering where the spots are or where to find out. Im gonna be living in Manassas working for Burton And Burton locksmiths so keep a look out for our 12 sec CHevy minivan, ill whoop up on your ****. Or keep a lookout for a green 98 ex with spoon wheels and slammed out the frame, and no exaust.

Try the strip at Manassas, personally it's been about 3 years since I went there. There are race tracks in Culpeper (Summerduck 1/8 mile) and one in Manassas called Dominion raceway I think. If you mean street racing... .I can't help you on that one.

 

you can always go out to 28 and catch a good race.

But Starting wednesday im making the ultimate sleeper. a 1971 Civic with an ITR motor, we are just doing it for ***** and giggles, and the fact that its gonna be some funny **** watchin a 71 civic whip up on some cobras, hehe. A stock ITR swap will not touch Cobras. And I hope you know that in a 71 Civic its not a easy swap, like it would be in a 94 Civic. Its gonna be a major bitch for you.

It has a gsr motor in it right now, it will be a breeze, Im gonna paint it tonight and ride out with the swap tomorrow, drive it around then blot on a turbo and drive some more if it all checks out i should be in Manassas late tomorrow or early the next day with the 71 civic and my car. Its gonna be fun trip. Cobras are easy, a b16 with a 50 shot could whip up on some cobra ***.

Not a new Cobra. Those things are monsters and would EASILY take a B18C5 hatch, even with bolts ons.

 

Yeah, spots are getting busted all the time. I recently just had a spot out in the middle of NOWHERE. NOWHERE damn it. It was sweet. Only god knows how the cops found it.

Now my races are just random races here and there. Nothing beats the track though but the streets still have their kick.

 

streets is just good for that adreneline rush...but i still like them..lol..tracks closin soon though soo i guess a spot is gonna have to be found..

 

yeah, but a 71 civic will be weighing in around 1500-1700lbs

stock itr in a 71 civic definitely would eat up on cobras and I would put money on it at least being very close for the new ones. Those oldschool civics are like go-karts on the scales!
