Sometimes my ef won't crank, dash lights turn on fuel pump and all that, then when I try n crank it, it just shorts out, all lights turn off. Then what I do to turn it on is I disconnect the neg battery, then reconnect it, and I press the gas pedal and crank it and it turns on. What's my issue?

 

Edit* I cleaned the main ground wire that goes to tranny and neg terminal, had a little bit of green dust. Car started up fine, still don't know if it fully fixed it. I suspect either ignition wiring trouble or bad grounds. I did replace the ignition cylinder but not the wire part. I'd like to know if any one else had this issue and fixed it 100%

 

You should probably re solder your main relay. There are several threads here on how to do it.
