Default 4 in 1 X-Tune Tachometer

Sup everyone! I have a 1996 Honda Accord LX 2.2L (f22b2). I bought a 4 in 1 X-Tune tachometer. The tach has oil pressure, water temperature, oil temperature in the tach on separate gauge. I have wired up the red to a ignition wire. The green to the tachometer sender off the coil. I also found the test tach line (looks like a wire with inline fuse on it) then black grounded out on bolt under steering wheel. The yellow is wired to the dimmer line so I can change brightness of the tachometer. Now on to the tricky part and where I need help. For water temperature I found the sender wire under the distributor. I wired into the factory there for didn't need piece that came with tachometer. Dash gauge works but tachometer gauge doesn't. This is the blue wire on my tachometer. Next is the oil pressure sender/sensor. This is above oil filter and repeated the same as before. I ran into factory wiring there fore didn't need the piece that came with tachomete. This is the orange wire from tachometer. For the oil temperature there is no sensor or sender wire that I know of. So I found a port hole above the oil pan on the block that the piece that came with the tachometer fits in perfect. Now after doing this I hid all lines and cleaned the car up. Mount is the only thing left to do. After reconnecting battery up I did a test. I let the car get warm. The tach and the set mark for shift light works. The gauges on cluster in car works. The tachometer water, oil temperature and oil pressure does not. What is wrong???? The oil temperature I know probably is due to no being in the oil itself. So where is a good spot to tap into for this to work. Also if the lines from the tach are going into the stock senders this should be gettin the same readings as the gauges on dash cluster. Right? So my questions are. Are the wires in right place? If not where do I need them? Thanks in advance for all who help

Should of instead of spending funds on that "toy" fix all those oil leaks.

The reason the oil and temp on the "tach" are not working is because of the "sensors".

You are going to have to decide how you want to solve this. Either use the factory gauges, use the aftermarket gauges or both.

What part of NC are you in?

The tach sender which is on the OEM cluster n the aftermarket tachometer works. So with those lines working fine the others should also but doesn't.

*not-sure-if-serious...it-goes-to-eleven*

It would be best if you used separate dedicated sensors for your gauges.
If the sensor for a given component fails both your installed gauge and the factory gauge will read the same. If you have separate gauges you will be able to tell if it is a gauge issue or an engine issue or both. Sharing a sensor may cause backfeed issues with teh ECM as well. I would avoid piggy backing on the same sensor.

Good to hear!! So where would I put the senders that came with the tachometer?

1.Oil Pressure Sender
2.Oil Temperature Senser
3.Water Temperature

In the picture I uploaded is the senders that came with tachometer.

The larger oil filter lookalike is for oil pressure
The smaller one is for water temperature and oil temperature (one of the smaller ones isn't pictured due to already on car on block righr above oil pan.

Again....do you want the factory and the aftermarket ones to work.....or just the aftermarket......I asked this already and there was no answer to the question

What I would do is remove the factory water temp sensor(The small one wire sensor Under the distributor), and install a nipple and a tee. Then on either side of the tee I would install both the facotry sensor and the new one. I bet the reason why the factory sensor will not drive the aftermarket gauge is theyre probably differently ranged gauges.

Same with the oil pressure/temp. I would remove the factory switch on the back of the block, install a tee and install the new sensors. However, if I am reading it right, theres both a oil temp and a pressure sensor. So, youll either need to find an additional oil tap off...or run a three way splitter. Be sure sure sure...that you get the right threaded fittings...they may be machine or pipe. If pipe youll need tape. On a side note...why did you buy this thing with metric indications? Just curious..
