No actually there have been numerous posts about it on the ITR section of this MB. If you'll try a search on recent and archived topics then you'll probably find those numerous multi-page threads about them.

...And yes they are about the "real" J's Intake, although it really doesn't make **** of difference except the fakes are plastic (some J's are too) and the "real" one is C/F with a ghetto-*** looking wannabe C/F cover on the air filter.

OMG that's too funny!

No really I'll try and find those topics that covered this extensively.

Why are so many of you guys ripping really bad on the guy? The funny stuff like the quote above is funny and all, but some of you guys saying "do a Search Noob!" could probably do the search yourself and just give him some links too.

The search here used to be awesome, but now it sucks ***. I agree it sucks seeing the same **** recycled and all, but sometimes the search doesn't do crap.

If you do a search and still don't find anything then please post "Already did a search!" or something to that effect.

Thanks.

if i my ish straight, i believe that if you purchase this intake in japan it comes with a k&n of japan filter that looks slightly similar to the ones previously used on an aem. it is difficult to know for sure, though, as i have seen both the k&n as well as the faux cf filter on a few japanese only sites. take all this for whatever it's worth, just putting out what i have seen.
