Default 93 Accord misfire update

I have been reading a lot of post and been searching on the web. I have found someone say unplug the vacuum line from the egr valve. So I tried it today and found the misfire wasn't as bad.but the cel came on.I have cleaned the egr ports holes a few months ago.I am just wondering if I should pull the intake off and give it a really good cleaning and replace all gaskets and seals.

If the egr ports were not properly cleaned or the EGR valve itself has partially blocked ports or the ports have clogged up again.
When doing the EGR ports it is best to fully clear them.

When I cleaned them I just removed the plugs and cleaned out the small holes

If you pulled all of the plugs and cleaned the 4 tiny runner holes inside then you should be good to go.

I was looking at a breakdown of a intake manifold from what I can tell, that there are more holes under the runner plug.I remember when I cleaned them I just removed plug and cleaned the ones under that plug didnt know that there was smaller ones on down, but thats looking at another pic

Simple question, when you cleared out the ports, did you push your cleaning tool through the port and into the intake runner? If not, then you probably did not clean the port.

EGR ports are stepped.
First step is about the size of a #2 flat blade screwdriver, then there is the actual port which varies in size depending on proximity to the EGR feed. Cylinder #4 port is about the size of a #1 flat blade screwdriver. #3 is slightly larger, #2 larger again, and #1 is the largest port. At least that is how it is on the 94-97 cars.

Yes there are smaller holes that lead down that must be cleaned as well.
