Hey guys i have a road trip planned out with some friends of mine. We are planning to attend our friends graduation all the way in Tennessee. Right now im currently in Denver. I plan on using my 2002 Honda Accord ex. The car i believe is still running strong on 154k miles. I had my uncle check it out and he says the machine still pulls great and there seems to have no problems with the transmission or any other thing. Also i keep a scheduled maintenence with oil and everything. This car is my daily driver for short distances to get from home to school and work but do you guys think my car can survive and still live after a trip to TRnnessee and back?

 

Depends on ur car man, we can't answer for you. If you are confident, go for it. Make sure it doesn't overheat and ur all good. If not sure, have couple of quarts of oil and coolant in the trunk. Good luck.

 

Has the timing belt, water pump been changed? Spark plugs? Transmission fluid serviced with Honda ATF? No type of repairs/preventive maintenance listed....

 

Agreed, how old is timing belt? What condition are tires, including the spare, and brakes? Both fans work ok? I'd trust it no problem, 154k isn't much.
