Car is not reving past 3k
Sup guys i have a 1991 EF civic DPFI OBD0 and i recently blew my motor and dropped a new one in there from a 1991 CRX SI d16a6 i believe
i have not converted anything in my car and i was told i can run it as obd0 the motor came with a dizzy but i think the dizzy is obd1 has a round plug and 2 extra wires that i have no where to slot them into my harness my car is also currently throwing codes OBD0 - 4 & 6 code could this be causing my car to run off please help its my daily college student struggling as it is any info would be greatly appreciated

I think you have 2 options:
1. Put your DPFI manifold and distributor on the D16.
2. Do a DPFI->MPFI conversion
Your "round plug" dizzy has extra sensor and 2 extra wires.
I had this same problem a long time ago. I don't know how but somehow my fuel filter on the firewall was on in reverse .. if that even makes sense, its just what the tech told me. Anyways .. the car would not rev past 3k. Probly not your problem given your situation... but I was in the neighborhood ... so I thought id throw that out there.
Well i ran her again today for abit im throwing two codes. A code #4 and #6
#4 is coolant temp sensor - i have problems starting my car at first it goes on and then dies out until i rev her abit while starting then she stays on and idles fine but my car is getting hot fast.
Next is #6 which is crankangle sensor or some **** which i believe is whats causing me not to be able to rev past 3 grand.
So will buying a dizzy for a 1.5 and running it on my d16 fix my problems cause i have the 1.6 dizzy hard wired right now and had two extra plugs with no space cause my harness doesnt have thoughs sensors

and yes my round plug dizzy does have 2 extra wires that i slotted in with 2 other plugs in order for my car to even start but its hitting me with codes now.
