Default 12.8@107 All Motor 2000 Si

We got a chance this weekend to run the Si on slicks and I am happy to say that the stock clutch held up enough to get a 12.8 out of the car. Somehow the stock GSR pressure plate with a Clutchnet disc held up enough to get a 1.73 60 ft. Hopefully we will get a full clutch setup by this weekend for MIR.

Thanks guys. It is a GSR motor with JDM ITR pistons and CTR intake cam, that's basically the meat and potatoes of it. Of course it has a Skunk intake manifold,ITR t.b.,cam gears, Iceman ram air,JDmITR header, blah blah blah.

The car has Ground Control coilovers and Tokico blue shocks in the front and white in the rear. I have no idea what kind of power the car is making, but I would have to guess it has to be in the 190 whp range. The slicks are 22x9-13" M&H on Volk Te37 drag wheels. We are using BCPR6E-11 NGK plugs from 90-91 1.6 SOHC and a stock GSR ecu with 9k rev limit, no fuel or timing mods. The intake cam is CTR and the exh. cam is stock GSR. As for the ram air, that thing was damn near impossible to find. You can get them from Erick's Racing (310)320-5788.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can take out of the car to lighten it up? I have removed the seats and the front bumper support and I don't want to make the car to unbearable since my wife drives it everyday. Any idea you have would be appreciated. Thanks, David

stock gsr for the exhaust cam??? is there any reason why you kept it instead of upgrading to the itr or ctr? I'm trying to build my gsr and am stuck on what cams to get and headers... any help would be great...

We decided not to waste the money on the exhaust cam due to the fact that we plan on putting Crower 402 cams in the car. The JDM ITR header is a great buy and makes good all around power.

The center support below the rear seats. Weighs about 40lbs.

One idea, try to get rid of all those ideas and formula and whatever out of you head, should take some brain mass away and save you some weight, or get a smaller hard drive with less weight and more compacity.
