93 Accord overdrive issue

I read somewhere that my 93 Accord could have a overdrive shutter or misfire feeling.It was called overdrive shutter theory.What is this theory and how do I fix the over drive shutter,misfire it has?

It is not a misfire it is a torque converter shutter and that is when the lockup happens or tries to happen, look up that.

Are you sure the misfire feeling is not from clogged EGR ports at part throttle cruise?
TC does not fully lock up until 50MPH.
