Default Manny's Si Hatch

I have a 1994 si hatch
I had a 1995 cx hatch but it got totaled before I was able to finish it.
I had to get another one and finish the project that I had in mind.
Currently a college student and work full time so I hope for a slow and steady build.
Doing this thread to get others opinions and any advice they might have.

One of the only pictures I got of my old hatch because my old phones and laptop died on me . Loved the white and black. Didn't have the chance to go crazy on it due to financials. Carbon fiber hood, jdm side markers, and just single cam vtec engine but that thing pulled.

How I bought the si.

Got the car with a mint set of rainbow seats. Haven't seen or heard much about this interior if anyone has any info.

Purchased a jdm b20b engine from engine depot.

Purchased the engine mainly to throw this gsr head, transmission, skunk2 pro series intake manifold, and dc sports header on.

Short-term: (This Summer)
Finish the swap jdm B20 block with gsr head and transmission.
Suspension, paint, and wheels.

Long-term:
Finish up on all the details. Shave the bay, wire tuck etc.

I put a similar combo in my old del sol. Was a b20b bottom end with a b16 head and gsr trans. Was a really fun car to drive. Def took some cheeks lol

Items I have picked up already.

still looking for a few other things.

gathers 4 speaker rear speakers that I originally got in grey but with some adhesive and black paint matches the car interior perfectly.

JL audio box and amplifier

short black armrest along with jdm parking pole and everything to install

double din center console and touch screen radio to install

jdm power folding mirrors with switch and relay

jdm stanley clear corners. Not sure if I should go with jdm style black housing headlights or jdm clear headlights. Heard that the black housing headlights give less visibility.

Honda momo steering wheel that I restored the color on, came out great.

Planning on getting AP1 cluster and to have it functioning perfect as well as sitting perfectly in the dash. Still looking for jdm window visors, headlights, and oem sunroof visor if anyone knows of someone selling. Also not sure whether to throw on fog lights or not.

I'm really liking that steering wheel. I'll have to add that to my list of possibilities.

thanks for the info. I've been told it's Canadian interior regardless I love it, it just adds a little something more to it.

Took off a couple things to beginning sanding. Not done because the car is in a tight spot and I don't have space to have to take off the passenger fender.

The bolts and other various little metals and tubes weren't taken off or covered so they're covered in blue. Some paint thinner and vinegar to clean off the paint and rust on the hardware! Will hopefully get to painting this weekend!

Basically done with painting the bay. Gonna finish it off tomorrow, I think I did pretty good considering its my first doing it

With the car pulled out of the garage I was able to take some more pictures of it.
Hope to get the engine put together little by little this week and put her in next weekend!

Some goodies arrived

skunk2 shift ****

oem eg floor mats

92-95 Chassis kit & 4 baby spikes (m6 nuts) from Bolt boys

Haven't been able to remove the head off the b20 and put the gsr head on mainly because I need my brother-in-law's help with it and he hasn't had time. Only thing keeping this car rooted to the garage
