Hey guys building up my motor and decided to tear the trans apart to see what shape it's in. Well before I tore it apart it did grind on my twice nkt to bad it was a short quick grind. Second it also blocked me out of reverse some times. Here are the pictures




it has some wear but can it be reused. I've heard yes and no please give me insight.

 

How did it shift in 1-5? You could just replace the synchros and sleeves. There are a lot of detailed inspections on youtube. Helped me out a lot.

 

It needs to be completely disassembled and inspected thoroughly. Based on the pictures is looks like it can be rebuilt but will definitely need some replacement parts. Beyond that, you won't know until it's been completely gone thru

 

Ya I figured I may tear it apart tonight after I change the axles in my other car I'll post pictures on here later
