Ignition issue 93 accord
So when I put my key in the Ignition and turn it to the start position no dash lights come one and the open door beeping doesn't shut off and no crank. Is the ignition switch not engaging or is that a neutral safety switch issue?
The neutral safety switch will only prevent the starter from engaging.
It's likely the ignition switch is bad, assuming you don't have a car alarm that could have a malfunctioning starter kill. You can test it. Take off the ignition covers and test for voltage at the solder joint that engages when you turn the key to the start position. It will be the one furthest from you. If you get battery voltage then the ignition switch is fine. If not, then the ignition switch is bad.
