Best all purpose 15" tires. Quality and price point.
I have some nice hand polished si wheels and just trying to decide whether I should cough up the change for high quality new tires, some of the more reasonably priced ones, or sourcing used tires would be a better idea. I have had pretty good luck with used tires previously but getting more difficult to find nice used or new 195/55,195/50, or 205/50 for a reasoable price. Any input would be helpful.

You looking for performance tires or all seasons?
The Dunlop Direzza DZ102 is a good, cheap performance tire with good treadwear ratings but you shouldn't use it in cold weather or snow. They cost about $70 each for 205/50R15 and will be a hell of a lot more fun than used all season tires. That said, they are a performance tire and will do very badly in cold weather or snow, you really can't use them year-round in Minnesota.
If you can, it might be worth picking up some ugly 14' steelies at the junk yard and getting some all season or preferably winter tires to use during the winter months and then keep your nice tires and wheels for the summer.
If money is super tight though, used all season tires are probably the best bang for your buck if you can find some in decent shape.

Yea I was checking those out as well as nittos nt450s. Just trying to make up my mind to what I really want to do. I will have a different set of wheels and tires for the winter for sure. I know I've heard good things about dz101 and dz102. Where did you get your dz102 at by the way motormouth93?
Re: Best all purpose 15" tires. Quality and price point.
I bought mine off of TireRack. I paid $280 plus another $60 for shipping for 4 of them in 205/50R15.
Whatever you decide to go with, it would be good to compare online to local prices, as I had to pay another $100 to get them mounted and balanced, and some places will do that for free/cheaper if you buy tires through them.

It really does depend on how your driving style is and what you're looking for. If you're a really spirited driver, then get a set of BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2. I run em on my crx and they grip really well. Performs pretty well in rain as well. Next step up is falken azenis rt-615. Don't do well in rain though.
Ohtsu's are our cheaper tire. I personally wouldn't run em on my car. If you're looking for the best all season tire, then i would stick to michelin. Best in rain and last long.
