I am planning on painting my car soon. I want to take apart my folding mirrors so I can paint them nice, around the lips, inside, and everything. I have the Helms manual for the USDM Civic and the mirrors disassemble completely differently. The USDMs have a 4th screw that holds the assembly together. The JDMs only have 3, I tried unsrewing them but it did not take the housing apart, any suggestions greatly appreciated.

just tape up the mirror and move it around when spraying them, you should be able to cover all of the mirror.
