codes... please for the love of hondas help...
okay so i went to autozone today and got codes for my engine. i need to get an expection soon, so i need to get this cleared...
code 1 :
P0141- heated oxygen sensor bank 1
is this downstream or up stream.. i just replace my downstream about a month ago..
code 2 :
P0401- EGR insufficient flow
i took the two of the egr pieces off and cleared the holes, i figured this w
ould be good, and its still clear holes.... what eles do i need to do this fix this??
code 3 :
P1361- (Intermittent interruption in TDC 1 sensor circuit)
i have absolutly no idea where this is, what the purpose is nor anything eles. i tried looking it up and it brings me to different thing (maybe im serching wrong....idk) is it one sensor connect to three or what? what i need help with this one is 1.where is it? 2. what do i need to do(buy another sensor?)
code 4 :
P0505- (IAC curcit condition or idle speed higher/lower than expected)
i believe this happen when i fixed my radiator leak... i had a hose that was on the back of my enigne, i did not drain it before i did anything, im thinking the wires that was right below that was maybe my circuit for this problem... anyone/anything?
im not a car guy, im the type of guy who knows how to put back together what i took off, and common sense...
could anyone please help me?

If you replaced this before due to the same code, check your fuses. You may simply have a blown fuse for the heater circuit.
Unhook the 4 pin connector, with the lock tab in the 12 O'clock position the wire terminals are numbered.
1-2
3-4
Check for continuity between 3 & 4 on the sensor.
Is there 10-40Ω?
Yes. Sensor heater is fine.
No. Replace sensor.
Check for voltage between 3 & 4 on the harness.
Turn ignition to II(ON)
Is there battery voltage?
No. Check wire harness for any damage or broken connections back to PCM.
Yes. Check wire harness for any damage. You will need to verify any problems with the harness back to the PCM.
I do not know what terminals to check on the 96/97 Accord PCM.
Look at your intake manifold below the injector rail, there is a large flat metal box that is bolted to the intake runers in line with the EGR valve. That is the EGR manifold, you need to remove that clean it as well as the ports going into each manifold runner.
There is a write up in the Accord FAQ at the top of the page to clean this.
Two things. Do NOT use any silicone oils or grease, these will damage the catalyst if the engine ingests them. Two, do not bother using any carb cleaners, this just makes a mess. Scrape the EGR ports clean with a #1 and #2 flat blade screw drivers, hand screwdrivers no power tools. For the ports going into the intake runners, use a #2 screwdriver and a vacuum to 'drill' and suck out the carbon. You will come to a lip, do not force the #2 screwdriver. Use the #1 screwdriver to 'drill' out the rest of the carbon build up.

Check for resistance between terminals 1&2.
Is resistance between 1850-2450Ω?
No. Replace Sensor
Yes. Check for continuity to ground of terminals 1 & 2.
Continuity to ground?
Yes. Replace sensor.
No. Sensor is fine.
Before delving deeper into back probing, if your car has a lot of miles and the engine is dirty, most likely there is oil/crud/gunk on the magnetic sensor pickups. This will cause a loss of resolution in the sensors.
Remove the crank pulley.
Remove the lower cover.
Verify the sensors are clean of any oil, grease, gunk, debris.

Coking of the throttle body and IACV can cause this problem. Verify there is no excessive carbon build up, use TB/MAF sensor cleaner to wipe the edges of the butterfly and throat of the TB down. Pull the IACV and verify it's filter/screen is not plugged with carbon. Clean where need be.
Reinstall.
