1988 CRX Si stock seats to integra seats swap
I'm in the process of fixing up my 1988 Honda Crx Si (D15B Vtec) and the stock Si seats are pretty much beat, I found a nice set of Gsr Integra cloth seats on Craigslist that I'm planning on scooping up and installing in the Rexy. I have never swapped out seats that weren't stock or made for that car so my question is how is this done and how difficult is it to do? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
You will have to make your own brackets. The rails won't line up from the gsr. Also the way to rails bolt onto the actual seat of the 94+ integras is different than how the rails bolt onto the crx's. I used some brackets I found at home depot to put 91 crx seats into my wagon, you'd have to do something similar.
You can swap rails. The seat back will be gangster angle though. The proper way would be to cut and re-angle the bracket that bolts to the seat back.
I have heard rumor of swapping seat rails from the crx seats to DA/DB seats and it working. not 100% sure as I never did it.

I put db1 seats into my 89 sedan. I used 1 EF rail, and kept the teggy rail that connects to the back. 3 of 4 bolts fit. But the crx floor patterns are different than the sedan.

You could cut the bolt 'feet' rivets off, find some appropriate steel, bend it at the right angles and weld it onto the rails, essentially making your own brackets for the sliders.
It's really not worth having only 3 bolts in the chassis and you getting into a wreck and the only thing holding you down giving way and you ejecting.
