HELP
I have a 95 accord when I hit the gas it hard it it bogs, I figured it could be the catylic converter so I removed, disconected the 02 sensor checked my timming, put in dual spark spark plugs, removed an extra quart and a half of tranny fluid that the previous owner had added, checked and cleand my silinoides on the tranny, checked the flowmeter, check the air filter and I cant remember what else Ive done and Im still having the same lack of power also some times does not want to start unless I keep my foot on the gas and crank for a while till it starts with no power until it picks up. When I removed the extra oil it gained a little power but not much. Also disconnected the the TPS and when I gave it gas the car did not move at all while in drive. If anyone has an idea on what it could be please help. Oh yeah I just got the codes 6,7,9 and 14 which I have no idea what they are. Thanks
If it is faulty the engine will have a hard time starting, no start, and not run correctly. This will greatly affect power.
7- TPS. If your TPS is still unhooked this will cause this code. Reconnect.
9- CYP sensor. #1 cylinder sensor.
14- IACV. Verify the connection is clean and tight.
If all these sensors are coming up bad, I would suspect that the ground wire at the back in the intake manifold may not be connected, corroded, or loose.
Verify the ground bonding jumper on the engine mount is installed correctly.
Verify the ground cable from the battery terminal to the transmission is correctly installed.
Verify battery terminal connections are clean and tight.
Verify battery is fully charged.
