Hello all,
I read both write ups on installing the SRS steering wheel into a US integra and my question is in regards to the wiring for a 94-96 Integra.
I read that the airbag wires are both positive and negative wiresare RED in color. Is there a sure way to get around just taking a chance on wiring and risking blowing the air bag? I just spent $380 on the steering wheel I really don't want to risk the powder show and blowing up my airbag b/c of wiring it wrong. I also read that you can't use a multimeter to confirm b/c it will deploy the bag as well.
Is there a way to trace the wire back through the harness to know for sure that I will have it correct? Can anyone provide a diagram if they have successfully wired their wheel up?
I was going to get pig tails from an obd2 integra with SRS and repin the plugs with my harness.
Any help would be appreciated.

All I can tell you is the red lead is from pin #1 of the SRS unit, [below center console] and the white lead is from pin #6 of the SRS unit, [all 16 leads to/from the SRS unit are gray], hope that helps. 94

Do you know how to depin the wires for the SRS plugs? I can't seem to figure it out. I'm trying to swap the plugs so I can have a plug and play set.
