Default Em1 overheating (solved)

I'm having trouble with my Em1, the temperature is rising to the H, the fan isn't cutting in and the car won't start unless jump started.. The lights on the dash are dim when you turn on the ignition but what's happening now is the car is starting to cut out when driving... I changed the thermostat, alternator, checked the fuses and checked if the fan worked, all are find any help welcome please

There is a fuse and a relay in the under hood fuse box for the radiator fan. I would give those a check.

Could be a grounding related issue. Find, clean, and tighten all your ground attachments to the chassis as well as your battery terminals.

You have a few issues that may or not be related so you need to break them down and fix them separately.

As far as the lights, have you checked the voltage output from the alternator while idling?

As far as the fan, have you looked for the diagnosis tree under the service manual?

If not, I would recommend downloading the service manual, you can find it online.
