Default 2004 Honda Accord LX (V6) TCS light on

Hi all.

On my 2004 Honda Accord LX V6, my TCS orange triangle light is constantly on. I search google and many different forums for a fix to no avail. I put in new brake switch and checked brake fluid. I cleaned the connections on the TCS switch itself. The engine light is NOT on and there are no codes to check. I checked all fuses and pulled and reinserted the plug to the brake fluid container. I tried the DLC pin 4 and 9 trick posted here also, again to no avail. Does anyone have any other suggestions I may try besides taking it to the dealer? (unless I have to) Thanks for any help!

Google a repair shop in your area. The code will need to be pulled to go further.

The pin 4 and 9 trick, was this for the TCS pressure sensor neutral position memorization? I just fixed mine last week after searching endlessly for a fix. Let me know where your at. Have you scanned for any codes yet? I brought mine to oreilly s after calling around to advanced auto etc.. to see if anybody had the ability to scan abs codes also. Found one shop. Let me know what code you have or what you have tried..

My Thoughts:
Reset the codes first.
Pin 4 &9: reset the abs ecu turn ignition off ,STEP 2 depress brake pedal, turn ignition on STEP 3,the abs light will go off after about 2 seconds. STEP 4 .after the light goes off release the pedal, the light will then come on after about 4 seconds. STEP 5 when the light comes on press the pedal again STEP.6 the light will go off again, the release pedal.

I got code 84-1....Sensor logic malfunction. You can get the code without going to a store. Maybe after clearing the codes you can turn the car off and Do not touch the brake for this one, watch the blinks of the abs light when you turn it back on.

Example if the light blinks slow 8 times and fast 1 time its code 84. Please correct me if I'm wrong anybody else in the forum.

If you get the same code i did, I'm sure we can fix this issue.

The Triangle light stays on and the TCS Light (letters) comes on after I drive a few feet. I will try the 4 & 9 pin reset with brake pedal instructions and respond back. Thanks for all whom responded!

Hey guys,

Finally got it fixed and thanks to all whom helped out. I realized I had put the paper clip on the wrong pins. I was looking on the opposite end of unit. I didn't have any codes, so I just reset the unit with the instructions provided in previous posts! Thanks again!
