Default 2002 Accord front sub-frame replacement

Hey folks,

I searched a bit and didn't find anything on this, although I know it's been discussed here. Sorry if it's a repeat. Many of you are probably aware of the sub-frame rot that 2002 accord-owners are experiencing (suspects include A/C drainage tube and northern weather). The car runs great and the tranny is rebuilt, so I'm thinking of tackling this swap. Anybody here done this? Found the entire front beam for $130-180, from a southern yard of course.

This would be my largest vehicular undertaking so far. I've done easier things like front suspension, distributor and components, hoses, CV arms, brakes, axles, bearings, filters, and exhaust. Assuming I might decide against trying it myself I called around for quotes and landed on a shop who could do it for $450, which seems like a good option to me. What do you think?

You can bet your *** that if this works out I'll be rerouting the A/C drainage.

Rear beam is usually the one that rots out.
Verify you have the correct parts and know which one you need to change out.
Front beam supports the raidus rods and is under the radiator.
Rear beam supports the front sway bar, steering rack, and rear motor mount.
