so i have this major problem..... my car overheats, and i notice it only overheats when my antifreeze is low, then when its low and my car is off it all just pours out. when i first notice it, i seen it was just pouring out ( the pictures ima post at the bottom is where is pours out of) i look at my radiator and its a little wet in the middle. idk if thats the case or one of the hoses anit working properly, or what. if anyone can help me it will be greatly apprecitated. and by the way. im not big on car terms.
The fact the coolant is leaking on the outside is better. You need to find out where it's coming from. Take off and under the air intake tube. Look at all the smaller heater hoses and the hoses going to the throttle body and iacv. There's also a hard pipe along the back of the block, that has two hoses attached to it. Good luck!
those little ovals are where its leaking from. and is that the hard hose thats conecting to them you are thalking about.. thats the only place its leaking from.
You have posted pictures of the exhaust, if coolant is leaking from the FITV or Heater Core hoses then it would drip down.
Next time you have this leak, open the hood remove the intake air hose between the air filter and throttle body and look for any wet spots on the hoses. Check the heater core valve as well, that may be leaking.
In many cases the oring for the distributor leaks oil onto the heater hose going to control valve in the firewall. The oil makes the hose weak and it starts to leak coolant.
