My 95 Accord EX Wagon has a sunroof with a "dot matrix" style shading which has always annoyed me. I would much rather a film style tint. My 97 Accord EX wagon has a sunroof with the tint film style shading. After looking it up on HondaPartsNow I saw that there are different sunroof glass part numbers between the 94-95 and 96-97 years. I also saw that the sunroof glass part numbers are the same between sedans and wagons. So I went to the local pick and pull, snagged a sunroof glass from a 96 accord EX sedan for $10, and installed in on my wagon. I'll take pictures and do a water test tomorrow. It only took 15 minutes to switch, looks like it fits great, and now I won't be constantly annoyed by the dot-matrix shading crap.
Here is a picture of the old sunroof. Note the horrific dot matrix shading.
First you'll pry out the little tabs covering the screws.
Then unscrew the cover. Push the cover towards the back of the car to pop it off of it's post.
Here you can see the sunroof mounts. There are four mounts with two posts each. Make a note of how many shims are at each location. I had two on both sides at the rear mounts and one on each side at the front mounts.
loosen and remove the eight nuts. Slightly open the sunroof. You just want the back of the sunroof to drop down.
At this point you should be able to maneuver the sunroof out and the new one in.
Once all the posts are in place loosely thread the nuts back on. Then place the shims back in there appropriate positions. Then tighten the sunroof nuts to 6.5 ft/lbs. The placement of shims can be adjusted as needed.
Close the sun roof all the way to make sure it is lined up correctly. You can do a seal test and make any adjustments.
Slide the mount trim towards the front of the car to mount it on it's post. Then screw it in and replace the little plastic tab covering the screw.
Enjoy your super awesome view of the sky!
My water test.
I had a couple drops leak through onto the passenger seat so I may need to make a few adjustments but I may have also just overwhelmed the drainage capacity of the drains because I was on a slant and only two drains would be able to function before it starts to build up and flow into the cabin. You can see the water flowing well from this front drain in the wheel well.
My 97 EX wagon sunroof for comparison.

So it's been a couple weeks and I thought I would update this to say that the car has been through several storms and car washes since the swap and I haven't had any leaks, just a beautiful clear view of the sky.
