What up HT I have a daily driven eg6 with a 5 lug conversion and both my rear calibers need changing.I searched high and low no store carries them or can order them for me .So i searched the forum and found that rsx/ep3 calipers may fit can anyone verify or point me in the right direction with a d.i.y and a parts list

I'm pretty sure that they will bolt up, but you will have to remove the calipers to bleed them because the bleeder will be upside down. Pain in the @$$. Unfortunately there are no direct replacements for the rear calipers from any other models. The exact caliper is unique to the ITR and CTR. I would personally buy brand new calipers from the dealership. They run about $200 each from Del Ray Acura online. You can find remanufactured versions for about $50 less each from Cardone or other similar companies. I've been searching high and low for a set as well and I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase new. Good luck.

 

You will have to swap the left and right side calipers and bleed them with the caliper pointed up with something wedged in the caliper. Its definitely a pain and not worth the trouble on a street car.

 

Thought 97+ prelude used the same brake calipers front and rear as the itr?

ITR rear calipers are $60 a piece on Rockauto along with a $65 core. Core cost is refunded when you send back your old calipers.

couldnt you just flip flop the calipers so you dont have to bleed them upside down?
