Default EF9 Si headlights turning off when turning left

So my headlights started doing some weird things recently. When I turn left they turn off and they'e hard to get to turn on again. I have to really crank the switch forward for them to turn on.

They used to work flawlessly.

Has anyone experienced this problem? I happened to be driving the other night and the car coming towards me had the exact same problem and it was a honda accord about a 95 or 97.

Could this be something other than the switch?

I would take a look at the ground boxs in the back of the headlights, it can be broke from the inside or full of corrosion, test for continuity with ground while you play with the wire
