Default Hello from the West Coast!

Hi! My name is Alan. I just got a new/used 2005 Accord V6 4 door from a family member. Car has right around 76,000 miles on it. I'm excited to have it and have some plans for it in the near future. The check engine light blinked on my way home from picking the car up and it said misfire on cyl 1 and cyl 5. I picked up two new coils and two new spark plugs for it today. Just waiting for my brother to get home so he can help me replace them. He works at an auto parts store so I saved a good chunk of change with his discount!

Default Re: Hello from the West Coast!

I've done some research, but can't come up with a definitive answer. My service manual says to change trans fluid around 100,000 miles, but I've heard people say 30,000 miles. Which is it? I'm about to drive this car from California to Kansas in about a month and don't want my trans to take a crap on me while driving. Any help/info is appreciated. Thanks.
