Didn't see any pics posted, looks super aggressive almost like a Type R already. I can't wait for the Type R to come to the US!

That looks pretty good. What's the Type R gonna be priced at and released when??
No details on pricing or what configurations as to it will be available in. 2dr, 4dr, hatch? One can only think hatchback since the hatch will be in the US. My guess is low $30's.
The availability rumor mill says mid/late-2016 for the R.

I haven't seen pricing info yet either, but low 30's is reasonable I think considering it runs 30k pounds in the UK.
No one will probably see pricing or the US configuration until later this year.
As much as I love Honda, its not worth more than $35k to me. -especially if the Focus RS and Golf R is said to be around STi pricing.

The Type-R will be in the same price range as the Golf R and the Focus RS... it's normal it's not no Civic or Civic Si... it's a different car period that is being made in the UK not North America.

Considering the civic type r is already priced at 30K+ pounds in the UK, don't expect the price to change coming to the US. 30k pounds is roughly 44k dollars, id bet your looking closer to that number for the type r.
I was going to say this, with taxes and such, maybe 50k...
According to this video late Fall of this year we'll get a Sedan version followed by a Coupe then as they call it a sporty 5 door.
Honda Confirms Type-R For U.S. At Civic Concept Debut: 2015 New York Auto Show
Fast foward to 20:28 and that's when he states it. No pricing really, but from what I read and was informed of is that the CTR will probably be somewhere in the 30-35 range which will more than likely come out in 2016. All Civics will get a DOHC VTEC while the "premium" models will get a 1.5 VTEC Turbo.

$50k is flirting with BMW M2, CLA AMG, etc among other higher end vehicles. Taxes and currency is what is killing the cost in Europe.
I'm still saying low $30's-

Sorry for not explaining my post. I live in Canada where every car we buy is priced 15-20% more than anywhere in the USA. My price point would be Canada based...
