Hey all,

Last year I bought a 2005 Acura TSX. I didn't do any mods to it as I was looking to replace it with one which has lower mileage. But it's been a year and I haven't found anything that meets my requirements so I just figured I'd do some work to mine as I've given up hope looking.

Anyway on to the pics...












Only thing I have done so far is the GROM aux/ipod, aspec wheels and LED dome/map lights.

Here is what i'm planning to do this summer:
- aspec lip kit
- coilovers (Tein Street Advance or BC Racing)
- Honda accord euro front grill and rear honda emblem
- rear window visor
- rear lip spoiler
- cold air intake
- some minor body work (rust making an appearance) and 1 dent

If you can help me with any of these parts, please let me know. I'm a motivated buyer. I'm saving performance mods until next year, hopefully a motor rebuild and comptech SC.

lug nuts order was cancelled because they were on backorder. Thankfully I was able to order them from Eric @ Teknotik along with front & rear stoptech rotors. Eric in case you see this, thanks for all your help. This guy knows his ****.

 

So over the winter, when I would clean snow from around the wheel well, I noticed something... the front passenger side's wheel is tucked a bit back in the wheel well as if someone rammed the car into a curb. I had the car inspected by a mechanic and it didn't look like anything was actually bent. Any idea on how to fix this?

 

LCA might be bent.

 

Thanks, once the coilovers and camber kits are on, I'll go for an alignment. Hopefully they can figure out what it is

Now that I have the a-spec lip kit pieced together, it's time for paint! Going to get an estimate on April 17 to have the whole car sprayed and to just have the lips sprayed and fix the rust. I'd really prefer to spray the whole car but I don't wanna spend more than 3k so it might be tough. What should my budget be for a good quality spray?

 

I paid a little over 5k for paint on my hatch. You could probably get it cheaper though. For some reason I freaking love TSX's.

 

I can swing 5k in a month or so. Damn, really wanted to get this done ASAP

My budget for this summer was 10k and after I get the exhaust, header and cat I'm going to be at around 7.5k. I'M NEVER BELOW BUDGET DAMMIT!

 

 

I mean, I probably overpaid but the shop did an excellent job. Just shop around a bit. For the little stuff I used to go to one guy that had his own shop. He would always be a bit cheaper then everyone else and cared about his work more. Find that guy

 

Yeah, I'm going to take a day off work and just do some shopping around sometime soon, I really wanna keep it as close to 3k as possible, but I don't mind spending a bit more if it means it'll be better quality work.

a few more items today... coilover wrenches, 6000k bulbs and jdm grill... didn't realize the Honda emblem was gold, will be changing it to chrome

 

I'd sell that gold H. It's worth some money. Hard to come by.

 

But then I'd have to find one to replace it and it'd have to be the same size. Just gonna paint it along with the chrome trim on the hood and the rest of the grill.

 

how about calling ICB for a silver emblem. took 15 seconds flat to find one.
