so im tired of cds and aux cords. i bought the car with a new radio. im wondering where the antenna is on my sedan honda accord lx . i want to listen to my radio but cant. i have no idea ehere it could be.. been reading up and looks like it could be in my back window. idk. may someone help me please.

 

Thats where it is. Maybe pull the radio and see if the antenna is installed in the port.

 

okay i took my radio out and seen a purple wire was not connected. so i connected it, and still doesnt work. i dont seen anything wrong with the wire... what am i to do now

 

If you have a meter you can check continuity between the rear window and the coax at the radio the connector at the rear can be found in the trunk under the partial shelf. Never seen a purple coax for a antenna.

 

The antenna is a big metal cylinder plug, it's not really a wire persay. It's separate from the loom that plugs into the back of the radio itself.

It's a black cable, mine had some of the foam insulation stuff stuck around it as well.
