Default Clutch engagement issue when hot

Hey folks, I have a 2004 honda civic si (canadian) so I think that's an ex in the states. Once the car is good and hot the clutch will slip when engaging in first and second. Also, it squeaks when the peddle is released at the end of the motion. Is this a master cylinder issue? Note that it never slips in higher gears and never slips on downshift, or when its cold.

Thanks much for any advice

Have you tried bleeding the clutch hydraulics?

Hmm not yet, think that might be the cause? Some other threads also talk about adjusting the clutch pedal.

I'd start with bleeding the system. Your hydraulics may have a small air bubble in the line.
