Default $5 Sparco tow strap. To good to be true?

Searching for tow-straps and hooks i ran across this Sparco tow strap on ebay. On eBay it blurs the brand making me think its real, because if the names not on it for marketing whats the point? Though it doesn't list the metal used and i cant find them on Sparcos site.

What do you think? To good to be true?

The Sparco fabric might be genuine, but Sparco never made that eBay garbage.

Many times you can find real brand name stuff on E-bay dirt cheap. It just comes out the back door of the factory after hours. Its so hard to tell... They very well could have just stole the branding cloth from the factory aswell.. who knows.

Your very welcome. The slimmer Sparco ones looked solid for the price, though i would have bought the thicker one for 1$ more. Please lemme know the quality when it arrives. If its decent i shall pick one up. Though i need it to be useable not just look nice.

seems fake. the real Sparco tow strap doesn't look like that, I have 2. Those are based off the older Sparco pattern used on their older seat harnesses. I think those are fakes, the real ones are relatively cheap too tho. I think i paid around $18 brand new for it

Umm...explain again WHY you think it's "real" because they blurred out the sparco name?

To put a brand name on the product serves no purpose other than marketing. If your not using the brand name to market your product, and no-one is buying it for the name (they are unaware of the claimed brand). Then what is the point of putting the name on the strap? Other than if sparco made it and wants people to know its theirs. Not saying i am correct just that it makes sense.

At this point i dont believe they are real.

Umm... what's to stop someone from buying a set of Sparco straps, cutting them up, and capitalizing from the brand name? Knock-off manufacturers have been doing this for decades.

Mine came in today, looks very high quality, stitching looks perfect, no little kid did it. Sparco tag looks very authentic and has a great quality feel to it. The tang is steel

Thanks again for the heads up, great $5 spent!
