Default 89 CRX fender question

I bought the car as is, and I can't figure out what's up with my lights/fender/hood alignment. A friend of mine told me that the fenders may be from a 91 but its all misaligned and I can't make heads or tails of it. Can anyone identify which is stock 89 parts and which is donor parts? I would like to make it look like its supposed to be there... Thanks in advance for the help!

I guarantee its that aftermarket front bumper. The 88-91 CRX fenders are the same. It also looks like your fender is tweaked on the corner right above the light.

poor fitting front bumper and the tip of the fender looks bent, or maybe the corner of the hood is sagging.

Looking at the gap between the hood and bumper between the headlights, the left side looks like it is a smaller gap and possibly cracked.
If so, maybe the previous owner ran over something that pushed that corner of the bumper up which in turn lifted the corner of the fender and bent it.

There doesn't seem to be any deformation in the fender.

It just looks botched... Would anyone recommend a civic front end swap? Or is there a better option? I'd rather have stock bumpers than this batmobile body kit.

You should be able to fix that fender/hood/headlight alignment. Some coercing on the metal with pressure, adjusting the mounting bolts, and shimming should get you there. Now when it comes to the bumper... that is probably just going to be what it is. You might be able to raise it up a little, but those fiberglass parts are not going to be OEM quality fits ever. This will require either re drilling the mounting holes, fabricating new brackets, an/or re-positioning it before tightening it down. Oh yea, make sure that corner light is in correctly because that will make that whole side look more out-of-wack than it actually is. The is a tab and a slot that has to line up correctly and it slides into place.

There is something nostalgic about that Batman paint job... I'd rock it. lol nanananana na na na Batman

look under hood, are all the cool stickers there? awful nearly thirty year old material? if so then its original.

my guesss would be that fender.

id try your trusty fender, bumper, cornerlight, back to oem spray robin.
