like the title says honda high performance handbook does anyone have one.....

and is it worth it?

I went and bought 'Honda Builders Handbook'. I'd save the money and ask the people on here.

 

I know SOMEONE always has an answer......

 

ditto, books aren't as helpful as I though they would be

 

read what every matierals you can get a hold of.
I have a book i think its called Honda/Acura performance written by Mike Kojamto(sp)
he the same tech writer in Sport Compact Car, Import tunner, Turbo and many other more magazinces... i would reeccomed it. very very good book that will teach you how the honda engine works, FI, all motor madness, ect.

if you actually enjoy reading and learning the intricate workings of your Honda, buy handbook #1 and start from there. I have found an unmeasureable ammount of info in this book alone. there is good tips beyond the bolt-ons. P.S. the sport compact nitrous guide is a bad *** tuning guide for spray.

 

I agree, read everything you can get your hands on. There's always something to learn.

 

I cannot stress how important reading is. i can learn so much. keep in mind that when reading you will come across words and terms & parts that you do not understand, heres a helpful hint(write it down and come back and ask people on H-T) you will also find as you are reading that many facts will not be correct. Most will though. About 99% published bookd, magazine and tech write-up/articales are correct. But when reading from non-perfessionals people you must also do reasearch to see what is true and false. many people here will give out bad advice or incorrect facts about things that they themselves are yet knowledgeble to, thus passing on incorrect facts, assumptions, rumors and ect. BUT you will find H-Tech members who will call them out! and give you the real info. Consumers should be aware of this as a possiblity and take this into accountablity.
