Default oil reset

Hi everyone sorry if this is a dumb question but I was messing around with the oil life sensor thing in my 2012 civic and the oil life was originally at 50% but I accidentally hit reset and now its at 100%. Pls help! And thank you.

If you reset it well nothing can be done to put it back to 50%... next oil change it will be ok!

Thanks! And will the cars computer still let me know when it needs to be changed? Or is it permanently screwed up?

Yes it will let you know when to change it but you'll be overdue for the oil change at that point.

So as soon as you see 50% you know you are due for an oil change!
