Default gsr skunk2 intake vacuum port issue

I was moving some accessory vacuum lines to another port on my intake, removed the T and reconnected the vacuum line to the booster... notI have no brakes and I think something may be lodged in one of the vacuum lines coming off of the intake... the question is should this port on the skunk2 intake manifold be free flowing? meaning should there be any restriction in it? If not Ithink part of the check valve may have lodged itself inside of the port...

that's for your brake booster, plug it back in... on stock brakes you need it for the booster with out it will feel as if they are very weak. it should be a solid line with a check valve, so from the nipple on the intake to the booster no t fitting.

like this except with a check valve you will have one. it's a d-series in the pic but you should get the idea

Right, My issue is that I cut the line to add a "T" for the accessories, it was effecting the idle so I moved the accessory lines. In the process of that I believe I lodged something into it. Thinking possibly part of the check valve in the line...When the car is running there is little to no vacuum coming through the line... I cannot manually suck or blow through the line either... A diagram od the check valve in the line would be helpful too to see if I have all the pieces

Or, are the ports threaded into the intake? or are they permanent?

why are you running something off that line, you're not supposed to... show me how you have it routed. the nipple is fixed to the intake remove that T and run it how it's supposed to be routed look at the pic I posted just put the check valve somewhere inbetween. if it's a solid line cut the line somewhere and hook up the check valve. what are you even using on the other end

See how it's routed no T just a straight through line, that's how it's supposed to be done

I was running a T for a vacuum manifold. All I need to know is if The tube circled in the pic on the Skunk2 pro manifold for the B series should be able to move air freely through it...

those things are old school junk, yes...why wouldn't it did you crush it, you're not supposed to T the booster line either way.

He already knows the booster line wasn't the most ideal place to pull vacuum from. He removed the vacuum manifold but in the process he thinks he might have accidentally lodged something down the pipe because he's lost his brakes all of a sudden.

To the OP : Kinda hard to get a piece of a check valve in that tube. get a metal coat hanger and feed it into the tube to check for restrictions down the tube.
