Default Options for 5th gen Prelude Power Steering Rack

I am looking into removing my power-steering components and it seems that the only option for our 5th gen preludes is to just loop the lines. I found the write-up on that and am confident I could do it no problem. But is there any full manual rack out there that I could modify to fit my prelude, like a manual rack out of the 88-91 civic? Or is my best option for right now is to loop the lines? Any and all help on this is much appreciated.

I am going to tell you what I tell everyone who owns a prelude.

Our Preludes from 2nd-5th gens all came with powersteering assist in stock form.
That means they never were made to go without fluid, and there was never a manual version.

While you can do this, you will end up destroying the rack after a couple of years on average.
If there was a manual rack made for any prelude, its either hiding with all the unicorns and fairies and space aliens because non have ever surfaced in all my years knowing preludes which started in 1992. (lol...)

I dont recommend looping those lines as that is just a temp measure to eliminate it, and it does more damage than you realize over the months.

There are no other racks that fit, all Accords also came with powersteering assist so there was never a manual rack for those either.

It would require custom work to fit those racks into our subframes and if you have taken a look at our racks its tight down there.

So the bolt up option the answer is - NO.
As for custom - Anyones guess.

Thank you 1funryd for your reply and yes I know these preludes came with power racks I am looking into modifying a 1992-1995 Del Sol manual rack to fit my prelude. I do not want to loop the lines since my rack is already on its way out it leaks everywhere so no point in making this rack worse. Here is a picture of what I am talking about:
I think with a little modification it would fit and it would be a good end result.

What you're planning to do doesn't make any practical sense.

You're taking the old one out, so swap in a new oem/one that's used but still good and tested or an aftermarket one.

Why you would waste your time trying to make one work that wasn't engineered for your car is beyond me.

Yeah but the main goal here is to have my engine bay is clean as possible I really want to go down the tuck and shaved bay road. I cannot make that work with a power rack in my car with all the lines all over the place. I already did swap in a used rack with less then 70k miles on it and its junk it leaks and needs to be rebuilt. So by the time I would buy a remand unit I could just get a manual steering rack and call it a day. I don't want to loop the lines either, that doesn't make any sense to me since this rack seems to be on its away out at the moment. This prelude of mine does not get driven that often and will be my life long project in the making.
