I just purchased some ground control to go along with my koni yellows. They sent me the ones for a integra and koni yellow will they work the same as the type R ones? Thanks

 

as long as the sleeves are for the yellows and your yellows are for an itr they should be fine

 

installing the GC hats are a must for that combo. makes a big difference when tracking or autocrossing.

 

extended top hats? what do they do actually? how do they make a different?
im curious, never experience coilover sleeves.

Hi,

With all the Koni ground control stage 1 kits you have to reuse the OEM top hats. Advantage of ground control top hats. I recommend getting the top hats if your lowering it more than 1.5" They are also a better quality than the OEM and they give you added suspension travel which makes for a better ride. If your top hats are in bad shape then the ground control top hats are a no brainer.
